GetGrowing Hunt Club is back for its 7th year, and registration is officially open! We’re thrilled to invite you to kickstart your garden with a free vegetable seedling or salad pot and a package of seeds. Quantities are limited, so register today to reserve your free garden kit!

Saturday, May 16th
Pickup: 12:30 – 2:30pm

Join us at Hunt Club Riverside Park Community Centre to pick up your free GetGrowing Kit. Simply register in advance and give your name at the check-in table on the day.

There’s plenty more happening on the day. Here are a few things to look forward to this year.

🌼 The Children’s Spring Festival runs alongside the giveaway, with free crafts, games, sensory play, and bubble stations for kids aged 3–7. An RSVP is appreciated to help us plan — details on the homepage.

🐝 Local exhibitors to discover: Explore and connect with some amazing local groups when you come to pick-up your GetGrowing Kit. Learn about bees, pollinators, native plants, seeds, McCarthy Woods, and get to know your local Hunt Club Community Association.

🥫 Accepting Non-Perishable Food Donations: Brookfield Community Food Cupboard will be collecting, so kindly bring non-perishable food items or a financial contribution when you come. The Cupboard is a pantry located within Brookfield High School, serving both students and neighbours of Riverside Park, Hunt Club, and Heron Park.

🍦 Ice Cream Fundraiser: New this year, the Hunt Club Community Association has partnered with the Merry Dairy for a sweet fundraiser. Order a pint of their handmade ice cream (dairy or vegan) before May 15th, and $2 from every pint goes directly toward keeping the program strong. You can pick up your order at the event on May 16th. Every pint helps.

Happy gardening,
GetGrowing Hunt Club Team
